A Year of Growth and Innovation at Grosvenor Systems
As we reflect on 2024, it’s been a year of growth and milestones at Grosvenor Systems. We’ve made exciting strides in enhancing our solutions, building stronger relationships with clients, and expanding our team. From reintroducing in-person events to launching new products initiatives and product updates, it’s been a year of shared success and innovation. So, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the highlights and achievements that have made this year truly special.
New Managing Director
We kicked off the year on a high note with the appointment of our new Managing Director, Andy Wheeler. Andy joined us from Artifax Software, a well-regarded leader in the arts and culture events industry, where he played a pivotal role in driving innovation and growth. His fresh perspectives and proven expertise are helping us sharpen our focus on delivering value to our clients, enhancing our solutions, and positioning Grosvenor Systems for continued success.
Reflecting on his first year with us, Andy shares, "I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together. The team’s dedication to delivering value to our clients, coupled with our focus on innovation, has laid the groundwork for exciting opportunities ahead. I’m eager to continue building on this progress as we enhance our solutions and strengthen our partnerships, ensuring long-term success for both our clients and the business."
Looking ahead, Andy’s vision will continue to guide our efforts as we strive for even greater success in 2025.
Increased Cloud Collaboration with AWS
Another key focus for us in 2024 has been strengthening our partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to further enhance our Grosvenor Cloud Service. While we’ve been working with AWS for several years, this year has marked a deeper integration to support our cloud migration efforts. AWS, known for its security, compliance, and innovation, has been instrumental in helping us overcome previous challenges and unlock new levels of scalability. By leveraging their trusted platform, we’re able to dynamically adjust resources while maintaining the highest standards of security. This strengthened partnership ensures Propman remains secure, agile, and future-proof, providing our clients with a faster, more reliable service built on trust and long-term value.
Bringing Back Grosvenor Events
In September 2024, we hosted our first in-person event since 2019, welcoming over thirty clients to the Amazon Web Services offices in London. The event was a resounding success, providing a platform for meaningful discussions on Grosvenor Cloud and tenant engagement strategies. Attendees were also treated to an exclusive preview of our first cloud-native product!
Here are our key takeaways from the event:
- Delivering a great tenant experience and maintaining strong engagement is critical—it’s a factor that can significantly influence revenue growth.
- AI is poised to transform the property industry, offering powerful tools to enhance efficiency and streamline team operations.
- Cloud-based property management software is the key to unlocking operational potential and achieving maximum effectiveness.
Additionally in 2024, we were glad to reintroduce our joint-training sessions. These sessions provide a collaborative space for Propman users to deepen their skills and maximise their use of the system. Keep an eye out for more in 2025!
Clear Roadmap for the Future
This year also saw us introduce a customer-facing roadmap for Propman’s future direction. Paired with the external launch of our Ideas Portal, we’re giving users the platform to suggest features they’d like to see. These initiatives underscore our commitment to transparency and user-driven development, ensuring that Propman continues to evolve and meet our clients’ needs while staying ahead of industry trends.
Client Collaboration: Grosvenor Waterside User Story
A standout moment this year was our collaboration with Grosvenor Waterside, which resulted in a compelling user story showcasing how Propman has transformed their operations. The user story highlights how Propman helped Grosvenor Waterside take control of financial accounts and improve communication with leaseholders, providing them with a more streamlined and effective property management solution.
Product Developments
We’ve introduced key enhancements to Propman this year, particularly in reporting and usability. One highlight is the Tenancy Schedule Report now allows users to include inactive tenancies, giving them insights into past and future leases. Additionally, report file names now feature a 6-digit numbering system, improving the archive within the Report Viewer and minimising the risk of overwriting historical reports. This, alongside our other updates are designed to streamline workflows and improve reporting capabilities.
Growing Our Team
2024 was a year of growth for our team. We welcomed four new members: Lucy Reid, who joined us as HR Manager, bringing her expertise in people management to help strengthen our company culture; Rhys Powell, our new Product Specialist, whose fresh perspectives have already added value to our product development efforts; Emma Thorne, our Marketing Executive, who has helped strengthen our brand and customer engagement; and Hallam Smith, our Account Executive, who has become an essential part of our Sales team. We’re thrilled with the contributions they’ve already made and look forward to seeing them continue to grow and thrive within the company.
Conclusion
As we look back on 2024, we’re proud of the progress we’ve made and the strong foundation we’ve built for the future. From enhancing our solutions and strengthening key partnerships to growing our team and re-engaging with clients, it’s been a year of collaboration and innovation. Here’s to continued success and new opportunities in 2025!
