The service charge apportionment report has notably expedited Catella APAM's reconciliation process, ensuring greater accuracy and efficiency. Moreover, the platform’s flexibility in billing tenants for specific usage periods has significantly streamlined their financial operations.  Carrie Howey, Operations Data Manager, highlights that the benefits of the apportionment reports extend beyond the Accounting team to the Property Managers, providing them with valuable self-service capabilities. “The adoption of Propman's custom reports has further enhanced its value for the Property Management team. Additionally, the recent implementation of Propman’s purchase order functionality has empowered Property Managers with greater control over invoice coding within the service charge budget, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and bolstering client relationships.“

 Carrie adds, “The fact that we've got this budgeting functionality provides a systematic process to control expenditure, means that the Property Managers have greater control of spend, which helps with transparency and compliance with RICs guidelines. For example, by pre-emptively managing budgets, we have eliminated the need for float requests, driving greater efficiency across the board.”

 During the implementation of the purchase order functionality, Catella APAM worked closely with the Grosvenor Systems team. Carrie recalls, “Our Account Manager, Kieran has been fantastic. He has dedicated time to help us select the best options. We’ve also worked with Kevin from the Professional Services team. Whenever we ask, ‘is this possible?’, he'll help us find a way!”

 Looking ahead, Catella APAM plans to expand their use of Propman to streamline additional manual processes, allowing the team to focus on more strategic and client-focused activities. Propman’s reporting templates have been customised to dovetail with Catella APAM’s client best-in-class practice reporting systems.
